Set the table for Christmas November 21 2015

Are you thinking of Christmas already? I definitely am! I love to create Christmas atmosphere in the house - especially now with the kids: they do believe in Christmas Magic and I'll do my best to make that happen. I still remember how lovely it was when I was a kid so I definitely want mine to have that same experience. But that applies to us adults too, right? So here some proposals to create a lovely, warm tablesetting for the Holidays!

I've always thought great textiles bring you along way in creatingt the right mood. Here a tablecloth is accompanied by a few runners and lovely napkins - it's not only lovely to look at but also very practical at use: it's easy to clean the runners without always having to wash the whole tablecloth!

Cotton string lights. Easy yet an effective way to create the mood for Christmas! Many colours available.

This new candleholder Circle by Ferm Living conquered me immediatelly. It looks great as it is, but like in the photo, you can add some personal deco to it for a personal look!

Iittala's proposal for this Christmas is stunning. Love their Tanssi collection and the new Kaasa candleholders!

Tanssi cushion cover, Tanssi espresso cups, Kaasa candleholders, Kastehelmi bowl.

Here's a great example of how little it can take. Add a lovely teatowel and some pinecones and branches you collected from the nature. Done!

There's no Christmas without candles, if you ask me! String candleholder by Ferm Living is one of my favourites - all year around.

Hexagon napkin rings by Ferm Living are a great way to decorate the table. The classy runner Kehra (small white on the picture, comes also as medium size and as tablecloth) goes perfectly with the geometric Scandinavian look.

 Enjoy the weekend!
